volytica diagnostics proudly announces its success at the Automobilwoche Congress, where Project Engineer Paula Schwetzler secured the prestigious Automobilwoche Award for volytica with her compelling pitch. Co-hosted by McKinsey & Company, the event celebrated the company’s innovative contributions to EV battery diagnostics and sustainable mobility solutions.
Developed in collaboration with MAHLE Aftermarket, volytica’s E-Health Charge solution uniquely combines real-time battery diagnostics with EV charging, delivering accurate insights into battery health, performance, and residual value in just 15 minutes — a game-changer for any entity involved in buying, selling, or servicing EVs. This innovative tool empowers lessees, dealers, workshops, and other industry stakeholders to ensure reliable service in today’s rapidly evolving automotive sector.
Claudius Jehle, CEO of volytica diagnostics, is delighted with the award: “We are proud of this first place, which underlines the importance of battery diagnostics in the automotive industry. After the ICNC Award in September, this is the second award we have won this year and is a valuable acknowledgement of our team’s hard work over the past few years. We celebrated our fifth anniversary in October and for half a decade our software has continuously contributed to the safe, efficient and more sustainable use of batteries – including electric vehicles, buses, trains, trucks and cars, as well as stationary energy storage systems (BESS)”.
The Automobilwoche Congress convened industry leaders from companies like Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and Škoda to discuss the sector’s transformation. Paula Schwetzler, Project Engineer at volytica diagnostics and representative in the start-up pitch session, highlighted the event’s focus on sustainability: “At volytica, we are fully aligned with the industry’s commitment to sustainable electromobility. As the market for electric vehicles (EVs) continues to grow, we are ensuring that reliable tools and diagnostics support effective EV maintenance and remarketing—key steps in advancing sustainable EV adoption.”
The global automotive industry is entering a new era. Digital and low-CO2 technologies are becoming key strategic elements for car manufacturers and suppliers. Software-defined vehicles, autonomous driving, and emission-neutral technologies are shaping the future of mobility. This new world opens exciting opportunities for companies—if approached correctly.
The Automobilwoche Congress, themed “New World. New Opportunities,” is dedicated to this transformative journey, showcasing how the automotive industry can thrive in this evolving landscape. The event convenes industry leaders, innovators, and trailblazers to discuss strategies for navigating this era of unprecedented change.
The impressive contributions of startups to this transformation were highlighted during the congress, as shown in the picture on the left, which outlines key achievements such as unicorn successes and funding milestones.
volytica diagnostics is honored to be part of this dynamic community, contributing to sustainable and innovative solutions for the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
“This achievement not only reinforces volytica diagnostics’ role in driving innovation within the EV ecosystem but also inspires us to aim higher. With startups like ours contributing $7 billion in funding and five achieving unicorn status, who knows—maybe we’ll be number six someday!” says Florian Stern, Head of Business Development at volytica.
